I. Character:
- Character Arc- Deborah is a character who is absorbed in her own problem and refuses to share them because of her pride. She then meets Rachel, and through the friendship they create, Deborah realizes that she has been wrong, only being considerate about her own feelings. However, when Rachel is able to get her sight, Deborah is afraid of being alone again, and abandons Rachel by moving away. When Rachel reaches out to Deborah again, Deborah is transformed and is able to open her heart. Her overcoming her greatest fears of showing herself will be overcome through Rachel.
- Peeling the Onion-People who know Deborah will see her as cold-hearted because of her monotonous facial expressions and glares, with her songs as the only attractions. However, as she is able to meet more people through Rachel, she changes.
- Universal Empathy- Everyone, or most, have a secret they want to hide from all the people they know. That may be done by altering their true natures, then being lost because they act some one who is not truly them. Deborah is the extreme case, and people would feel extremely sympathetic when they see her past, what caused her to be this way.
